Beetlelands: Watchtower

Concept for a watchtower with housing for bugs and knights. The nest is integrated into the construction of the tower, housing the bugs and allowing for additional storage.

Beetlelands is a world building project centered around the idea of a medieval world where there is a symbiotic relationship between humans and giant bugs. The bugs take the place of the other animals that would have been used for farming or transit such as horses. The architecture of the world is also influence by this relationship as buildings are built in, on and around the hives of the bugs.
