Beeltelands: The Capital

The Capital castle town of the beetlelands. Surrounded by rolling farmland and small wooded areas, the folk and bugs that live there dwell in piece and harmony... for now...

Beetlelands is a world building project centered around the idea of a medieval world where there is a symbiotic relationship between humans and giant bugs. The bugs take the place of the other animals that would have been used for farming or transit such as horses. The architecture of the world is also influence by this relationship as buildings are built in, on and around the hives of the bugs.
